If you are looking for a place to cool off and have fun with the kids this summer look no further than these DFW water parks!

Epic Waters is an indoor water park located in Grand Prairie, Texas. We had the honor of being invited to check it out when it first opened and it was amazing! It is open year-round and has a retractable roof, 11 slides, pools, a lazy river (the longest indoor lazy river in Texas), and last but not least an EPIC kids aquatic fort.

We had a cabana for the day which was totally worth it. We were able to have a “home base” where we could see the kids playing and they could come back to us to rest or eat. We also had a waitress which was super helpful!

As of right now, I can’t find any info online about the cabanas and waitstaff. I am not sure about cabana pricing or reservations or if the waitstaff is only for the cabanas or if they are available in the whole park. I am going to reach out to them for more info and update this post when I receive it!

Great Wolf Lodge is located in Grapevine, Texas and is more of a full stay experience than just your typical water park. When you book a room at Great Wolf Lodge it includes water park access for the day, many kid activities throughout the property, and a ropes course!

The property also has a Build A Bear and several restaurants including a fun character breakfast!

If you don’t want to stay the night at the hotel you can purchase a day pass to the water park only.

Hurricane Harbor is a Six Flags owned water park and it is FUN. It is located in Arlington and has 17+ slides and attractions. You will have a blast at this park with or without the kids!

There are places to eat throughout the park, but let me say one thing… it is super hot in the peak months of summer. If you are taking younger kids plan to go early and leave early and make sure the kids drink a ton of water and be sure to make the whole family bring shoes (water shoes are probably best) because the ground will burn the heck out of your feet.

You can see a lot more info about Hurricane Harbor in this blog post! It includes info on pricing, what to bring with you, what to eat while there, and my favorite slides!

JadeWaters is a water park in Dallas that is open to guests staying at the Hilton Anatole. They have 2 water slides, a leisure pool, kids splash area, a swim up bar, a lazy river, a restraunt, and cabanas for rent!

I have not been to Jadewaters yet, but my friend Michelle at Modern Mom Life has and here is her full guide to JadeWaters!

Hawaiian Falls has locations all over DFW and is always a fun way to spend the day with kids during the summer. We’ve even been without kids!

Hawaiian Falls has a killer kids area, lazy rivers, a wave pool, and super fun slides. You can buy food there or you can pay extra to bring in your own cooler. If you live near their parks I think it is worth it to buy a season pass too!

The best part about Hawaiian Falls (The Colony location) is the water walkway. It keeps the ground cool when you are walking through the park so you don’t burn your feet!
